The first CD is a waste of time for any experienced sales professional. However, in the second CD, Tracy shares many good ideas and techniques than even a seasoned pro will find beneficial. Overall, it is a good, but not great book.

Finally a great guide to salesmanship

Tracy is one of my favorite business authors, and I was glad to see him tackle the not-mainstream task of training for experienced salespeople. Advanced Selling Strategies is NOT a good starting place for people just getting into sales; where experienced salesmen will have no problem keeping up (and engrossed), newbies will stumble on a lot of the terminology (which Tracy does not define) and he leaves much of the training to the listener to implement, again a difficult skill for a newbie. Experienced salespeople will be rewarded with a powerful presentation on selling strategies that inspires, and speaks to professional salesmen at an intelligent level. Tracy's sales program itself is fantastically crafted, and I can easily understand why it has been so successful for so many.
