Overview

Ann of the Green Gables was an amazing book. It is about a girl named Anne who came to the Green Gables and started a life with Marilla and Matthew when they adopted her. Then she grows up with them and her best friend and on the way have fun times, sad times, and even some misunderstanding times. I recommend this book to someone who wants to read a good classic book and a few laughs from time to time. There were a lot of fun times in Ann of the Green Gables. Like there was a part where Ann and Diana decide on being Blossom Friends, which kind of means BFFs. There was also when Ann and her friends act out a play near the river. Then there was when Ann and Diana go see a concert in the city. Overall, this book was probably almost all filled with fun things happening. There was also alot of sad times in Ann of the Green Gables too. Like when Marilla almost didn’t let Ann stay at the Green Gables. And there was also when Diana’s mom would not let her play with Ann for a long time and when Ann woulds not go out of her room because of that. Even though there was alot of fun things, there was still alot of sad times in the book. There might have been mostly sad and fun times in Ann of the Green Gables but there was a few times where things were a little misunderstanding. Like when Diana’s mom thought that Ann made Diana drunk when it was only a mistake. And there was when Ann bought hair dye from an Italian and it made her hair turn green and then Marilla made her shave her head. There weren’t many parts like that but they were the funniest parts to read. Overall this book is a great classic and I certainly had fun reading it. I would recommend it to someone who loves to read good, funny classic books.
